Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir Dan Batin

Raya Oooo
Ingatlah keluarga tersayang

Serenity of Masjid Jamek

An Official History of Masjid Jamek
The Masjid Jamek is situated, where both rivers the Sungei Klang and the Sungei Gombak meet. Right at this very place has the history of Kuala Lumpur started.
The mosque was built in 1907 and officially opened by the Sultan of Selangor on 23rd of December in 1909. The Masjid Jamek Kuala Lumpur is the oldest mosque in KL.
This is the very spot for Kuala Lumpur's history, where the early settlers of Kuala Lumpur built their shacks. In the 1850s, early miners would unload here their equipment and provisions. They would then trek up the jungle path to Ampang, where they would dig for tin.
Masjid Jamek is the main mosque of Kuala Lumpur untill The National Mosque was built in 1965 near the railway station.

My Little Old History With Masjid Jamek

For someone who spents all his schooling days in the
the bustling city of KL, Masjid Jamek was one of the places we
frequently go(other than Sg. Wang Plaza, Lot 10, Pertama etc..).
Friday Prayers would always bring us here. And 10 years has passed since
prayed my friday prayers here as a student. Not much has changed, to the mosque itself.
It still has its old architecture. And although, after 10 years the buildings,
the roads around Masjid Jamek had changed, the mosque itself still remains at it is.
My latest visit, was last Friday. Before Suboh.
And Kl being KL, never sleeps. Cars, busses and taxi's are already on the move around 5:30.
But, inside the compound of the mosque itself, there is some sort of clarity, calmness which
drown out the sounds of the busy life of KL.
Guess some things will never change..

What Is The Shadow Behind
Its A Tiger
Pandangan Penuh Bermakna

A Tiger's Story
TIGER,tiger burning bright
In the forest of the night
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder and what art
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat
What dread hand and what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? What dread grasp
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?

When ther start threw down their spears
And water'd heaven with their tears
Did He smile His work to see
Did He who made the lamb make thee?

Tiger,tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

A zoo without lions and tigers, is something that has yet not been seen.

Location: Masih lagi di Zoo Taiping.
Condition: As you can see, they look tired, weak and un-interested. Perhaps, it's something in the water? Or perhaps..its just the feeling that is gone.

Fly Birdy Fly

Fly Away
Fly Away With Me
A little Bit of Dust

Given To Fly

He could've tuned in tuned in
But he tuned out
A bad time nothing could save him
Alone in a corridor waiting locked out
He got up outta there ran for hundreds of miles
He made it to the ocean had a smoke in a tree
The wind rose up set him down on his knee

A wave came crashing like a fist to the jaw
Delivered him wings "Hey look at me now"
Arms wide open with the sea as his floor
Oh power oh

He's.. flying
High.. wide, oh

He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share
His key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere
But first he was stripped and then he was stabbed
By faceless men, well, fuckers
He still stands

And he still gives his love, he just gives it away
The love he receives is the love that is saved
And sometimes is seen a strange spot in the sky
A human being that was given to fly

High.. flying
Oh, oh
High.. flying
Oh, oh
Oh, oh

Lazying around in my house, spotted an eagle swooping down from the sky. It was almost 'buka puasa' time. Snapped a few shots, although should have done better. the eagle was so close, yet so far.Only got a 3 snaps. This is all i have. The clouds, are after the eagle has left. One of the cloud a tribute to MUPA. Heh...i finally understand the meaning of the sky behind the sunset la MUPA...heheh
